Dallas World Aquarium

This weekend the Chalco-Paz fam headed to the Dallas World Aquarium for a day filled with rain forest creatures and sea animals. We had been considering hitting up the aquarium for a while, but after the disappointment that was the Dallas Zoo, we were reluctant to spend the money. Luckily, the aquarium was AWESOME. It was totally worth the money and we can't wait to go back! We are just waiting for someone to come and visit us in Dallas so that we can take them there. Obviously Sofia was too small to really love it the way that Jimmy and I did, but she was as interested as one can expect from a 4 1/2 month old baby.

Sofia wasn't really sure if she was cool with what was about to go down.

The layout of the aquarium was pretty neatt. You start on the top floor and spiral your way down through the wonders of the rain forest. We are ready to go!
It was so crowded that we had to squeeze into the corner to take a fam picture. We don't get many pictures of the three of us, but we were excited about this one!

She fell asleep for about 30 minutes in her stroller, but by the time she woke up we were at the coolest part of the aquarium. She seemed really interested (or else she was just being nice and pretending like she was interested for Jimmy and me).You can't tell here, but we are in the shark tank. The penguins were adorable. I had to include a picture.
By the end of the day, Sofi was ready to roll on home. We all had a fabulous time and we can't wait to go back!

  1. Great pics, Linds! It's so fun to see Sofi looking so grown up. Hopefully we can hit Sea World in June and you can do a compare/contrast. Love you!!

  2. Love it! I'm so jealous because I have been wanting to go there forever and have lived here all my life. Those pictures were great and made me want to go even more.
